A World Of Snow Poem by Marianne Scarfe

A World Of Snow

Rating: 5.0

Awakening I see a world of snow
Each flake
Settling silently
Transforming countryside
And town

The floating feathers
Of the sky
Make a blanket
Soft and deep

Each field
Each tree
Stay quiet
Stay still

Under Earth's
White eiderdown
While underneath
The snowdrops
Sleep.

A very soothing write, captures the snow covered countryside beautifully. Thanks for sharing.
