Abiding Love
If you roam this busy earth alone,
How will you soak up the sunlight
On an exotic beach and smile?
If you’re eccentric to a fault
Who will understand the wisdom of your mind
Or the heart of your compassion?
If you’re captivated
By a woman’s eyes or the sound of her voice
But never express your feelings to her,
How will you ever live with an abiding love?
