Abnormal Not Immoral Poem by Oreoluwa Sanni

Don't mistake abnormality for immorality,
I'm an anomaly but that doesn't mean I'm out to defy moral standard because that could mostly be to my detriment.

I learn from people's mistakes and victories in general,
I'm self learning and I experience some of both first hand.

Some people say don't do this,
And others say don't do that,
And depending on who the words are from
I don't mind accepting it because I know where they might be coming from.

In today's generation everyone's an expert as the world becomes more and more subjective, so I'm really picky pertaining who I lend an ear to.

But listening to some subjective views can be a learning curve if you pay the right type of attention to it because you might find a diamond in all that dirt, but I feel I'm being subjective with this so who knows.
