I wasn't born normal,
I wasn't raised normal,
How can I be normal?
I am not normal,
And It's quite abnormal,
to think I can be normal.
I can front for you,
but that doesn't make me normal,
My views are not normal
I've seen things abnormal,
Tho I can learn the ways
Walk it talk it blend in for days
Until you discover we're not the same,
I don't want to be normal
And I don't expect you to relate.
I do wonder what it's like to be normal
But I guess I'll never know,
But shortly after I start to wonder,
a question arises with all this thoughts on normality,
are you the norm?
Hmm, I wonder.
Well expressed thoughts and feelings. An insightful bit of verse. Thanks for sharing, Oreoluwa.
