Abongo Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Abongo

Shake the dirt off your body and move on in life,
Like a farmer's donkey and a teacher's monkey.
My heart is like that of a lion's and,
My feet are like the feet of a deer!
I am now well and healthy to take part in the race.

September 11th will always be remembered and,
I have you on my mind like a man on the throne of Israyl.
Abongo, enter into the door of love;
For you are a valiant man on this love of mine and,
Come and let us pay homage to the king of this place.
