Love is surely better than hating, much easier to cope
Hating rather than loving is an emotional and slippery slope
A judge will hang a murderer at the end of a rope
Not out of hatred but for the victims seeking hope
The argument that skin colour should be a debate
Is just another falsity about love and hate
We are all humans of colour God gave us that fate
Life is a more pleasant journey with a coloured mate
Sitting atop a mountain what a spectacular view
A chance to reflect on everything you knew
About love and hate and its impact on you
Whether in your life you made people happy or blue
