Acceptance Poem by June FeirCruz

Acceptance

Rating: 5.0

I played all my cards
I took the chance
Of being wanted by you

There was no reciprocity
It disappointed me
But you still inspire me to see the best of you

I know it wasn't meant to be
It's the wrong time
Maybe there was no chemistry

Although I'm in constant pain
I just know: I would love again

Very Nice! Its funny how you follwed the same order I did on my poems a while back. Keep thinking that way. Trust me it will get you far. Don't think of what could have been and the day you shall have her by your side. Think of what the future holds for you and yearn for the day you shall move on. Well back on the topic of your poem, Great! I give it a 10 :)

In the middle of the deepest pain is a sweetness, and that sweetness is hope, hope is the last to die. You keep knocking on doors June. Very honest and nice poem. Raymond

When we can accept that there will many failed relationships in our lives, then we can go out with a clear conscience and find someone who is more our style, and has some things in common. Love is a reciprocal commodity, because when you love someone, and that someone doesn't reciprocate, then the relationship never got started. Thank you for sharing these wise verses. Hugs, Barbara
