Acceptance sign

It is just transmission
I should not lack the admission
Not me alone
But could be any one

You were straight and simple
To cause ripple
In calm pond
With an urge to correspond

I thought it would not be gentleman like approach
Hence eyes must speak as such
Not staring with lust
But invitation with trust

I was still hesitant
But made it constant gesture
She had no clue as to what was the aim
At right time, I openly claimed

She was not shy
As she did not ask "why"
She made eyes down
I took it mere as an acceptance sign
