Aching Poem by Kristinahh KIMBER

Aching

I was there when the rain dripped down your face
when the suns shadows hid from your presence
when the stars from the skies burnt out
leaving you afraid, and so alone
I was there when the heat made your blood run cold
when your scars developed showing the agony of your pain
when i watched through the crystal at your shattering heart
i was there when he was not
though you believed with every aching muscle he was
my eyes apon your eyes, my hand apon your skin
the scars the create those tears flow through my veins
hurting me to show you my love for you
and to proove that he never did
taking your pain away from those hands
is as taking the wings of a fai angel
except having to live with half of the pain you did subside
its funny how it killed me, and how you were so strong
living with twice the pain i coiuld not stand
as if standing made me feel so small
and sleeping by you so big so great
as if i could hold the world with your aching hands
