Acrostic Of Your Name #7 Poem by Doris Cornago

Acrostic Of Your Name #7

Rating: 5.0

Awesome is a trite word but that summarizes
The view of this life with you, from the
Beach, in this island we both
Inhabit, no one else
Knows this
Exists
But
Us
Do you
Know it does
You're the sleeping
Bear and I'm a playful
Bird dropping bombs on you
Until you wake up and get me some
Broth in a cup, or a watermelon sliced half
You're the husky bear, ferocious and mighty as ever

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We inhabit this secret world which we only have knowledge of. We are happy for this isolation as we cannot tolerate anyone's invasion. Even with me, you make it known that you are a private person, and not to barge in to your inner sanctum when you are doing something else.
