Addicted Highway Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Addicted Highway

A sprinkling of broken dreams, beside discarded
memories, of life's beautiful moments,
trashed without cause..
Life dogged by misfortune, and lack of
recognition and wasted talent thru futile attempts..
Woe to the vanquished, for life is short, and
human life span limits all that might be accomplished..
The whole variety of promise of human life, strewn
from the future..
Along the Addicted Highway.
