Addiction Poem by Keith Franks

Addiction

Rating: 5.0

I'm not sure of what to do,
so i came through to ask you,
you turned to me silently,
and didn't give any advice.

nothing. not a word, no breathe escaped your lips,
I was only asking for some simple life tips,
you turned away silently,
and i still succumbed to my vice.

Facing from me you ask me leave,
and my hearts pounding begins to thread and weave,
you walk away silently,
and im left to the mercy of mice.

still confused I follow in your wake,
and by your example my problems are quaked,
you ignore me silently,
and i wonder why i asked a dice.
