Adulthood - Poem by Brandi Vail
“Grow up! ” they said.
I was too immature.
I laughed and smiled.
So they said I was too immature.
So I grew up.
Too fast, I might add
I miss my childhood,
Or at least what I had of it.
Now that I’m an adult.
After wanting so bad to be one.
