Advent's Star



The snow has hardened; the trees are black and bare,
Yet in the night skies, a light shines that is rare.
Advent's star appears over the parish church
In a little known town. The divine asserts
Its rich presence in subtle, yet profound, ways.
It illuminates those bleak, December days.
