Advice Refused Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Advice Refused

What 'blindness' can be associated,
With anyone choosing...
To walk down a deadend road.
Into a brick wall.

Perhaps a few kids at play,
Can be excused for not paying attention.

But someone who has been warned and given,
Advice refused...
May need icecubes applied to the head.
But not a welcoming shoulder to cry on!
