After Flood Comes Calm Poem by Terence George Craddock

After Flood Comes Calm

body sweats
silver pain droplets
heart bursts

silver tears of pain in river flow
release sorrow dam heart strings
blocking life current vibrant love

after shock flood
surge torrent comes
calm quiet water

after flood
torrent comes
calm quiet
