After I Die Poem by Rey Benipayo

After I Die

I maybe gone soon
But I'm not gonna die
I will live forever
Even though my body
On a box underground deteriorates,
And soon becomes an ash
I will be around for generations
I may not left any wealth
Or any beloved treasures
To my love ones
To my friends
And to my family
For I'm not rich,
I'm just an ordinary person
Aside from my great memories,
All that I have written
My poems and short stories
Will soon be a legacy
Of my living days
It may not be immediate
It will defends on time.
