After Retirement, I Want To… Poem by Dr John Celes

Stop time for some time;
Find time to breathe with ease;
Enjoy the cool breeze;
Sleep in peace and get up late;
Think in solitude about my successes in life;
Eat less and enjoy the taste of food;
Recoup my health in right earnest;
Slacken the pace of my walk;
Watch my words before I talk;
Count God's blessings in my life;
Thank God for saving my life so many times;
Beg God for time to do more good;
Think of my less fortunate brethren;
Pray God to show His mercy on others as well;
Feel happy and content for good things I had done;
Plead to God to take more souls to heaven;
Make the earth free of terrorists, devils and sinfulness;
Bring more people to love God and His work.
