After The Wonderful?
The wonderful must save us, we think,
after the fabulous couldn't.
Entertainments of the fabulous survive.
How much of the wonderful is entertainments;
will they survive its failure to save us;
will that failure be the final disaster:
no entertainments, no wonder, no us?
