Against time and tide

You have misplaced truth
We have given both
The protection and nurtured
Your future was secured

Even seized with time
We thought sometimes
How would be fair to your growth?
We wanted to see it coming forth

You were given best care
Love and made you to dare
You were imparted good knowledge
And you proved too, outshining all boys of your age

You will correct
And act
For the generations ahead
And well read

Give no second thought
As we have fought
Against time and tide
Now you have to decide
