Against Will Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Against Will

Rating: 5.0

I was in full blossom
When you entered with treasure of kingdom
You fascinated me with style
I was mesmerized meanwhile

Were to be happy on earth
There was to be no dearth
You promised to get me moon
It was likely to fade away soon

You bargained with time
Cheated me and conscious in long time
It inflicted injury in my heart
I took it as deceptive art

I was cautious with you
As my soul spoke true
"Never believe blue eyed man"
I was after all noble woman

You soon showed color
It was about to jeopardize my honor
I got wind and forced you to withdraw
You saw it as danger with relation and thaw

I prayed almighty for having saved
Else he might have dared
Violated modesty at against will
That would have surely resulted into kill
