Aging Days Poem by Daniel Miltz

Aging Days

Trying to keep forever young
Shy intelligent life-form
Acts, peevishly
Sluggish with startled
Pride and vain
Drifting rayless, questionably
While young days dance
Sadly, insane
Yet, daylight sleeps, amongst
In darker shades
And brighter lights
Reflections wink
Past still waters
Whisking away
Trying to keep forever young
In aging days
