Aglow, Immortals Two Poem by Doris Cornago

Aglow, Immortals Two

Out on a limb with you
Truly is frightening
Yet we pass the
Day mooning
Pretending
Life is
A
Swing
A plaything
We can make
Anything go up
By sheer will or make
It go so slow, deep down
Below, aglow, immortals two

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
All an endeavor needs to succeed are two people thinking in the same way and willing to go out on a limb for each other. You might not have anything to hold on, no ground underneath, but so long as the vision remains clear, take on the ride and make it go high by sheer will. You might fail at the first try but so long as you've got each other's back, you can take on the next ride until you know enough to make you win. I would rather be a wide-eyed child and try rather than be a fearful adult and doubt at the first try.
