Wallowed in the sea of unemployment for twelve years
Settled in the valley of vipers and vultures in tears
Wandered helplessly in search of a job
To overcome the temptation to rob
Some mistook me for a lunatic
Let loose like a lost heretic
Where is the God of heaven?
Why has He left me in this oven?
Daily do my mates jubilate in their offer
Here is me destined and doomed to suffer
Left at the mercy of home lessons
Which may only last for some seasons
Dearest stood by me all through in this ship
Sipping with joy the juice of hardship
Now comes the time to celebrate
Because He has changed our fate
Unto Him be all honour and glory
Who has changed our ugly story
Given us a status beyond our imagination
What a joy to witness this elevation!
