Agony Unheard Poem by Beau Bennett

Agony Unheard

I wrote about my pain
I've written about my need
I wrote about my love
I've even written about my greed.
What have I left to write about
Some legacy untold
What events have I not said before
What story may unfold
I must fight back these tears of hate
And cures these sightless eyes
I must bind the mouth of misery
So only I can hear her cries
I am the cause of no desire
I am just some creature with no heart
I am chained to these emotions
And to these emotions she wants no part
I cut myself again today
And watched the blood roll down
The only way I could cry this day
wearing her crimson gown
I release the pain so easily this way
The only way that i know how
I vent out all the stress this way
All this agony that hurts me now
I've seen her shadow cast down before me
And from it i can't turn away
I'm trapped by this enchanting misery
And from it I'll die this day
