Aka Mothers Dysmenorrhea Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Aka Mothers Dysmenorrhea

Aka Mother's Dysmenorrhea

The purpose ofsunlights is
its gradual descends to
thesmokes of the archives,

The agingbody is betrayed
by its ancient clock,
the car machine in its total
mileage of the wreck,

After the green lights
given birth and intelligence
the brains settles into
apool of gradual indifference,

What you have learned
become the voices of
what you are now,

a ferocious dying tissues
from an infectious disease,
or other drying cells of the bodies,

The candle lights
of weathered storms
of acceptance,

this child is returned
back from the hard labors
before the earth's
wrinkled wombs,
my mother's dysmenorrhea
and the hostess,
