Ajar Of Marinas Ashes Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Ajar Of Marinas Ashes

A Jar of Marina's Ashes

(for when ashes are interned or scattered by Christian Text)

As long as i remember it would be the ashes on a jar,
of this girl i once knew.
From forty years ago encounters a long time ago.

these embers of unfruitful love and wasted heat
These pledges, tryst and consummations thatnever came to an altar of sanctity.

In the hidden confines of the heart,
It feasts and feasts,
A terminal wound that will haunt old age until such time as dusts, becomes the two of us.

In finely mesh of decompositions,
The cursed maggots of self hate will not remember anything at all.

a mutual consent,
a seeking of symphonies,

Let regrets be the purloined night
Recompense the future with kindness
God pardon this sinfull creature
And watch the final desolutionwith understanding.

The misconcievedvultures of memories will rise, regret,
fly again and again.

Rounding up the hollow spaces of the remains,
where love a once beautiful flower exists.

Say one more time, adiou to the pasts,
Love a beautiful flowers had once existed,
knocking on this dead dusts of a flesh.

To remember the scattering of the ashes in the wind.
the girl i was never meant to own
.
