Al-Qaeda On Attu? I Poem by Hubert Wilson

Al-Qaeda On Attu? I

Rating: 0.5

Prisoners of fanatical terrorists at Attu Island Coast Guard Station?
Remotest forgotten Alaskan location?
Only a kaladiscopic enigmatic riddle?
Just a deadly squeeze on innocents then caught in the middle?
Exactly what were the terrorists' objectives?
Confusing perspectives?
Totally out the way weather battered place?

Superfluous to even ANY God's embrace?
Hardly a military prize?
Absolute mystery as to its value in Al-Qaeda's eyes?
Doubly damned and isolated its few rresidents in a mostly depressed state?

Ruminating hostages awaited their fate?
Earth moving equipment - the terrorists were immediately concerned?
Questioning its exact location - they quickly learned?
Utilizing a fishing vessel just offshore to disguise their actions?
Incomprehensible their hurried extractions?
Excavating their perceived martyrdom treasure?
Massacre Bay - ironic the name to give them endless worldwide pleasure?

Any SECRET SPOKE is another secret broke?
