Aldous Huxley Joins Vermeer Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Aldous Huxley Joins Vermeer

Structured elves peak out like cats
Ambient green sober with clouds
Moral chairs declare the enlightenment
Sea of on owned free will
Feelings of temporary oasis
Books out of the shelves
Serotonin on a poster of the Grateful Dead
Relax by the existential river

Classic poetry extinguishes my muse
French Symbolism like a broken arch light
May the hidden man come out of the floor
Lit like a magic candle of the sixties
Deep in the history of sin
Tides flow like the ancient flood
Rainbows remind me of doves
Love is the on-conformed prophet

She gathers lace in the shadows
Posthumous glory
Remains of the abstractions of soul
Many worlds swirl in my glee
Strategy of obese monks
We sire our own canopy
Now the flowers shimmer
Aldous Huxley joins Vermeer
