Alien Invasion Poem by Juan Olivarez

Alien Invasion

Look John, Alex said, it's a ufo,
We're being invaded from outer space.
Little green men come on lets go,
A weird expression on his face.

Alex I said it's not what you think,
Put down that beer you've had enough.
You really should't ought to drink,
You know you can't handle the stuff.

Look John he screamed, they're landing now,
See all the flashing lights.
Look Alex, I don't see that, no how,
And I wish I could see your plight.

Yes the city council is alien enough,
And it was just you're crazy luck,
To come by during their car wash,
And they're just drying the new fire truck.

I like this poem, and Alex needs to put away his drink, he could be dangerous at times. Thanks for such a lively little poem. Lynn
