All Along Poem by Catherine Lindsey

All Along

Rating: 5.0

Mine is not a world of dreams
lest I dream of just July
with a heart filled to the brim with Spring
beneath a Summer sky.
I shall fill my mind with possibilities
A Soul set free to fly
no longer lingering without, I move within
my Soul to satisify.
I took the long way around the bend
just to make it back home again
where all the beauty of nature speaks
through Evergreens, Daffodils and rocky beach
a song that resonates of Spring
in a Soul set free to fly.
Peace becomes me and I am filled
I walk in Heavenly light
where no sorrow nor regret can enter in
for this reason I came back home again.
Balanced and whole and bathed in his light
Spring draws near and I shall fly
so if you see me there from the corner of your eye
or if you see my face in the clouds
just smile and know that I'm at peace
pleased at last to just be me
and my Soul can fly.
I've known it all along.
