All Functions Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I was considered as hard liner
With no friendship offer
Lonely person
With unknown reasons

I was considered cruel
Not doing well
In social circle
And causing all troubles

I was avoided in all functions
But called under some compulsion
I was really not communicative
It was hard to believe

But now I am changed
As I was caged
By a smiling child
Who appeared to be smiling and kind?

Is the cost of being secluded?
I decided
To be among brethren
For sharing their concern

I feel heartened
With all kind of joy added
Love can only be option
Why there should be any confusion?
