Most people ride their own bike
They ride it just the way the want
Sometimes they pull up close to another
and they ride side by side, weaving around
generally having a decent time
and so life's riders pedal
all by themselves

On occasion a partnership
rides by on a tandem bike
ONE bike built for two

Pure bliss in any partnership
is when the pilot, he or she or
he and he or she and she,
doesn't matter,
the pilot yells,
'close your eyes and pedal harder! '
when the co-pilot does this
BLISS is experienced by both

Fear-the eyes
ego- the power

close your eyes, pedal harder!
egolessly, fearlessly
acquiesce to your brother
trust, esteem, see the beauty
in how they see and do

Life you as know it, is you up front
and the others have always been
in the rear
braking and looking ahead for themselves
leaning the wrong way

let them pilot
close your eyes and pedal harder!
