All Roses - Poem by Hasmukhlal Amathalallal

If there were no flowers to compete
The colors would have been totally unknown
If it were totally rejected and thrown

Every object has been assigned with some recognition
They stand tall with full name and recognition
The mango is considered as all time high and king of fruits
Only for its quality to be felt as full of sweet

As the time moves on, they add some natural quality
Every object and its surrounding has special identity
It is understood by even small kid as to what is referred
They will accept willingly as and when it is offered

Same stands good for flowers too
Some flowers occupy good position and it is very true
They have fragrance and distinct smell to attract
The human mind and nostrils to smell and act

The mind comes to full sense and feels freshness
Everybody knows the source and never try to trace
Some of the flowers boom through out the year
The bees make beautiful sound to be liked by the ears

The roses occupy unique position and considered as king of flowers
It is signified as symbol of love and no one has adverse answers
It is liked by all and aligned with true love and purity
Since it is treated as symbol of love, it has maintained dignity

Many legendry stories evolve around Goddesses
Some of them are known by flowers they possess
Though it has attached lots of importance
There is in it a great deal of substance

There is so much linkage of rose with nature
The very good health has been referred as pink for sure
It has to be handled with delicacy and care
At least everybody is conscious and very much aware

The roses are placed at the feet of God
The beautiful woman adores head with rose
It becomes all the more symbolic
There is strong belief and logic

The beauty has to be protected by thorn
They are weak force and can’t do of their own
So many are sworn enemy and very jealous
They have the problems and face it very continuous

The beauty is to see and not to spoil
It will be useless if you want to avail
The beauty may eventually die
If you cruelly make attempt or try

It is not at all bad to dream or have desire
But such things are meant to be admired
They may regain the glory and name
If we adore them and not put them to shame
