All the poems
I have memorized
Through all the years
Will still be
When I no longer remember them.
All the feeling inside me
That I have known
Will not be
Death teaches forgetting
Even of what we most love
May G-d forgive me
For even thinking so.
A very poignant poem portraying a man's regrets as by-products of aging.
end of the day what we have gained in this world will fade away except the effects of our deeds on another living and non living things for or against the law of nature; one of them is the memories! Good!
