Allow No Outsider Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Beware of what you are asking
She snarled and fired by saying
“Only sluts and prostitutes go after”
I just got shock and wondered where I committed an error

She is known poetess of high standard
Very sensitive and always looking inward
Making it known with pure intent
Her mind and brilliance is always present

She is outspoken and straight forward
I try to understand her each word
Either spoken with anger or as outburst
It leaves with strong appeal at first

I allow no outsider to disturb peace
I have my own life to lead and feel at ease
I shall keep fighting against odds
Even though it may for me to carry load

I want no one to interfere with personal affair
Is it nice to intrude or make it look fair?
I have no answer but concede point
She has lot more to speak about

“Alright leave aside all bitterness”
I had frank suggestion to bring smile on face
She relented and agreed for joint poetic presentation
I thought it will be nice at east to begin with sound foundation

She seems to be kind at heart
Some women may conceal it as an art
But we got to give them full room to air views
Why not it is their right to raise the dues
