I sat on a rock, alone by the sea
I focussed on life and how it would be
The waves caressed the lonely shore
Bringing with them, sealife and more
I was rendered blind by the suns core
As I sat on this rock, admiring the shore
I wiped my brow from a bead of sweat
Which the sun made possible, when its rays and I met
After a while, it came to me
As I sat on this rock, alone by the sea
I should blend my thoughts, and be open with thee
Focus on life and how it could be
I jumped of the rock and into the blue
Something I thought I would never do
Just as I surfaced, after the dive
I realized, I was still alive
The ocean knew, it was beginning to see
How its inner secrets, blended with me
I now understand, this world of blue
I now understand, what I had to do
I sat back on the rock, alone by the sea
Re-focussed on life and how it should be.
