How do I measure time my love?
By time spent with you.
For when we're not together
there's nothing I wouldn't do
to make the clock go faster
and erase the aching hours
that inch by oh so slowly
and takes away the powers

that keeps us in separate places,
not close enough my love.
I pass my time methodically
and try to push and shove
the rest of the time I must live through
on a roller coaster ride
so I can spend more time with you
always by my side.
