Am Very Happy Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Internally I was very happy
This was spoken to me by many
Hopefully I looked so cheerful
Everything around me looked so beautiful

It has natural impact on human mind
When they have easy way to feel and find
How nice one feels when treated very kind?
Even nature greets with blowing wind

This comes not as surprise
It was daily taking place with sun rise
It had no tag attached with price
It was really worth to feel very nice

To add feather to cap someone proposed
I had no idea to be thought over or tossed
It was just put forward for acceptance
I was feeling nervous at once

No one had dared so far to have liberty
To come closer and have affinity
I was peace loving and believed in amity
This clearly proved my resolve and ability

I was longing for beautiful company
I dreamed of some one to accompany
I did not ask but certainly wished
But the matter did not end or finished

Such idea was never scoffed at or began
It was mooted all of sudden
I was not caught unaware with surprise
The speculation was on card and gave rise

These are most beautiful days
When some one dreams of beautiful ways
It may take everybody to think again
The matter is mixture of happiness and pain

This is the only delicate phase
When parents continue to think and are not at ease
They have something in mind for total security
They want to settle it before attainment of maturity

It augurs well with fantasy
You may dream many things but it is not easy
The destiny will shape in its own way
Willingly or unwilling it will keep you away

I had tried several times to choose my own course
I had blessings too from everybody of course
But things can not go as per planned way
It will start playing cruel in strange way

Every natural action has got its own reaction
It is equally matched with action
What bothers one most is its take off place?
It may end in not saving the face

The flowers may also fade as day nears to an end
The attitude and look may change with new trend
It is natural law for all to face sunset
There is equal share for everybody to get

It may have happy ending
The rules are applicable and binding
We ignore only what is bad
There won't be any time for feeling sad
