You are the key to my lock, the lock to my door
The moon to my stars and the rich to my poor
The light to my dark, the youth to my age
My stifle to anger and the calm of my rage

My love My laughter My sun and My rain
My passion, desire, the blood in my veins

You are the key to my lock
Open or closed behind which are secrets love only knows?

I carry your key as I have from the start
Dangling gently from the chain to my heart
