I'll never kill a deer
I'll never drink a beer,
In the military I have never served or fought
An American, am I not?
I don't wear cowboy boots
Sometimes I do enjoy wearing suits,
Sometimes i'll wear an ascot
An American, am I not?
I don't and I won't wear caps or a hat
I will not ever be fat,
Respect and manners to all I have been taught
An American, am I not?
I don't smoke, and tobacco I don't chew
I don't have a single tattoo,
Everything that I have I have worked for and bought
An American, am I not?
I don't listen to Country songs
Where they sing about drinking, cheating and wrongs,
I don't own a truck and I don't smoke pot
An American, am I not.
I don't hate those who are gay
I don't care if immigrants stay,
Everyone has a right to be happy is my thought
An American, am I not?
I will never own a gun
From no man will I ever run,
Two fists and my mind is what I got
An American, am I not?
I am not a racist or a bigot at all
All men are equal is my call,
Freedom and equality for all I have sought
An American, am I not?
I believe in Jesus's teachings
I read and I obey all of the Lord's preachings,
Peace and happiness with gold cannot be bought
An American, am I not?
