An Accident Repeatedly Awaiting To Happen Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

An Accident Repeatedly Awaiting To Happen

Hindsight to admit,
Endorsing to support...
A performing clown.
Entertaining under a circus tent.
Has promise to become a magnificent leader,
Is not one with hindsight...
Should publicly admit.
When that clown has already,
Proven to be...
Less than a clown.
Than an accident waiting to happen.
Again.
To permit again.
As if the doing to allow one more time,
The people witnessing the destruction...
Will applaud and cheer,
Having someone finally recognized...
To represent their interests like no one can.
