An Act Of Kindness Poem by Unnikrishnan Sivasankara Menon

An Act Of Kindness

Rating: 5.0

Tears roll down the face
Of a Russian Prisoner of war
Starving
Fed by a Ukrainian mother,

Fully aware that he would have
Killed her and her little children
Had he not been made to
Surrender.

An act of kindness
Worth emulating
So that earth turns into
A Garden of Eden, once again.

If only leaders and politicians showed their kind and human side, then surely, this world would be a garden of Eden.
