An Angel Of Light Poem by Myrtle Thomas

An Angel Of Light

Rating: 2.5

In the soft song of a evening breeze
or the hurricane winds howling
the whisper to come ' dance the dance
walk the walk.'

He resides in the playground of our mind
the giver of all pleasures, so easy to find
his appearance perfection, a desirable mystery
herded sheep, turned around throughout history

An angel of light, deception his plight
calmly he enters through portals of delight
to numb the senses and deceive the earth
eat, drink, rebel and make mirth

There is no law, no one to account to!
have your fun, there is no payment due!
he gives your imagination a will of it's own
' no consequences of actions ' no need to atone!

' The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one '. That one, John also said, is leading the entire inhabited earth'. (1 John 5: 19; Revelation 12: 9)
clearly, the Bible speaks of an invisible spirit as ' the ruler of the world '.

Satan is the tempter that sings a song of lustful desire.
Putting enticing thoughts in our minds and we allow those ideas to grow
and go to our hearts. we act on those temptations and that is where sin lives.

We should recognize who this angel is, he is a liar and the father of a lie, murderer and a thief
He is expert in his disguises his tools of trade are deception and desire.
