because your an artist
you already know
that artists give of their love
their soul artists already know truths

gifts of love your wife and son gave
to you before starting your journey
are gifts money and power cannot buy
the love and support of your family

is a precious beautiful gift
I still remember eating durian
in Jakarta with Ery Hesti and you
by the side of the road on a hot

tropical night if I could paint
I would paint that roadside scene
with heat feeling liquid words
to portray meaning vision beyond sight

giving joy is a beautiful gift
your life your families lives
are beautiful precious gifts

gifting flourishing happiness
in sincere ways is important
