An Attempt Poem by Kimberley Kerry

An Attempt

Rating: 5.0

I'm on a cloud now,
I can see many things,
I see you...

I see your first smile,
I see your lips tighten,
I see you eyes change.

I'm still sitting on this cloud,
I've decided to call it my own,
I have a perfect view you know...

I still see you,
You're on your swing,
it's funny how you only giggle when you stop swinging love.

I see you now,
I see the muscles thighten in your small fragile little body,
like an electrical surge,
beaming through you m'dear.

I see it in your eyes now,
deep blue, like searching for a pearl in the ocean,
i see them rolling now though...

I see the electrical charge,
You're being taken over once more.

I see your eyes closing now,
peeping out at me through your heavy lids.
I guess the sandman came early tonight.

Goodnight, Sleep well.

And I see me kissing you now,
I feel me kissing your warm, pink, florescent cheek.

I'm still sitting on my cloud now,
I guess I couldn't live without you.
