An Autumn Masterpiece Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

An autumn pallet like no other is present
The brilliant hues of orange, yellow and red
are fusing with the blueness of the heavens
as rhythmical Monarch wings flutter overhead

The clearness of the blue goes on forever...
as the burn of the sun gives affection warmly
October leaves feel loved… whether clinging
or falling weightlessly and landing softly

The shadows grow longer as the air cools
The glow of the sun slowly sink down
below the horizon… filling the autumnal sky
with radiant rays… forming a glorious crown

Beaming like jewels... giving off a brilliance
of perpetual amber, gleaming garnet, and
precious topaz… a splendid ending to the day...
