An Autumn Moon Poem by Luo Zhihai

An Autumn Moon

秋月

千娇媚宠添清丽
白折不挠有骨头
明月钟灵骚客醉
秋枫喝彩晚霞羞

An Autumn Moon

A thousand charms
more elegant and beautiful
Never yield in spite of reverses
have backbone

The bright moon gathering fairy spirits
the poets get drunk
The autumn maples cheer
the shy sunset glow

I like it that poets get drunk in leaf-drop from the maples' shy sunset glow. It expands the meaning of drunk.
