An easy access

"what made you call" she was in the rage
I was rattled and slipped the page
I could skip my beat
was this the way to greet?
I was reminded of the conversation
that took place between the great Sikandar and Porus
"Like king teats to the king" Porus had replied
but here that could not be applied
"sorry ma'me " I was a little apologetic
but it is between literary figures talking basically
about their fields and creations
I thought she had changed the decision
we had broken the impasse
the stage was opened to see
the reasons behind
she proved to be very kind
thereafter, we talked of the mutual interest
and served the literary test
the way was cleared of the mistrust
and I made a real inroad with the thrust
whether poetess or poet
we must allow or let
for newcomers to have an easy access
so they know what kind of new hazards are to be faced
