An Eclipsing Done Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

An Eclipsing Done

What overwhelms can stun.
Like an eclipsing of the Sun.
Done.
Yet later claim to deny,
What had been witnessed...
With squinting eyes.
Still unconvinced such an event,
Seen to have occurred...
Had blurred their vision to believe,
To be...
A cover-up!
Debated.
And a way to distort,
The significance...
Of what had taken place,
As historic!
